FRC

The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a high-school program offered by FIRST. Students build and program a robot, in a high-intensity six-week build period, to play a game.  Every year a new game is revealed at the highly anticipated kickoff in the beginning on January.  Awards are given not only to teams that build the best robots but to teams that personify Gracious Professionalism, like the Chairman’s Award.  Awards are also given to teams that have the best business plan, that produce the best website and produce the best animations, just to name a few.

FRC is a completely unique program that utilizes creativity, the latest in technological advances, innovation and high energy competitions that gets teenagers interested in areas of science and technology.
