What I do for the team: A lot of my time is spent CADing the robot and working on strategy. Outside of that, I help mentor SWAT’s FLL teams and support and lead other SWAT initiatives.
What my sub-team does: My sub-team is dedicated to learning all things mechanical. During Build Season, we focus on developing prototypes of mechanisms and the assembly of the robot.

Design and Strategy Lead
What I do for the team: The Design & Strategy subteam is in charge of determining a strategy for our robot design through game analysis. This includes mechanical aspects such as CADing while prototyping and building the mechanisms alongside the mechanical subteam. It also encompasses pure strategy such as scouting and coming up with game-winning techniques.
My goal when I graduate is to be taller than 5’1
I’m the programming lead and my subteam is responsible for coding the robot. This includes essential functions, such as driving, as well as more complex commands that might involve the usage of sensors. These can improve the robot’s overall accuracy and efficiency.
“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.
What I do for the team: My job on the team is to take care of all the media aspects of out team. I’ve also illustrated “Millie finds a Wrench” which was a children’s picture book made by our team. Outside of the team I do MUN at my school and I enjoy painting in my free time.

Hey, I’m Ari! I adore traveling and meeting new people. It’s my goal to travel to all 7 continents in the world, (I’m currently at 5). I’m a pretty bubbly person, and like to laugh a lot. I listen to a ton of classic rock and bad 2000s music, Backstreet Boys where you at, and would do anything for a 2-scoop cone of Purdy’s Death by Chocolate ice cream.

am an enthusiastic person who loves kids and science. I hope to become a paediatrician in my later life and have lots of children. Oh, and my favourite colour is yellow.
