Mechanical Lead

Emily Adam

What I do for the team: A lot of my time is spent CADing the robot and working on strategy. Outside of that, I help mentor SWAT’s FLL teams and support and lead other SWAT initiatives.

What my sub-team does: My sub-team dedicates to learning all things mechanical. During Build Season, we focus on developing prototypes of mechanisms and the assembly of the robot.

What I do for the team: The Design & Strategy subteam is in charge of determining a strategy for our robot design through game analysis. This includes mechanical aspects such as CADing while prototyping and building the mechanisms alongside the mechanical subteam. It also encompasses pure strategy such as scouting and coming up with game-winning techniques.
